Mu State currently has one Campus Kappa which is Blue Mountain College Campus Kappa. Blue Mountain College Campus Kappa was charted April 28, 1993, with the approval of Dr. E Harold Fisher, President, and members of the faculty in Blue Mountain, Mississippi. Imogene Hardon, faculty member, and National Kappa Kappa Inc. applied for the organization to the President and Dean of Students. Eudora Kemp, Past National President of Kappa Kappa Iota, and Louise Peeler, Past Mu State President, conducted the installation and initiation of the new members. The charter President was Amy Higgins; Vice President, Jennifer Harden; Secretary, Beth Phillips; and Treasurer, Pam Boren. Imogene Hardon served as first faculty advisor, followed by Myra Langley, Silvia Thompson, and Jenetta Waddell, the present advisor.
